Roger Passman-Fischel, born in 1943, has dedicated his life to education and the study of language. He earned three post-secondary degrees: a BA in History and English, an MEd in Teaching Secondary English, and an EdD in Language and Literacy. Roger began his career teaching middle school in Chicago but transitioned to higher education after completing his doctorate. He taught at Texas Tech University before returning to Chicago, where he finished his career at Northeastern Illinois University. Now retired, Roger enjoys reading and studying religious texts, focusing on their construction rather than their spiritual meaning. In 2024, he began blogging to share his insights with a broader audience.
